The Wave Money feature to bookkeep a check deposit was shipped to users along with the redesigned mobile app in 2022.
Looking at data analysis, over half of business owners are matching an invoice with a check deposit. We can conclude that this feature is useful for the majority of business owners.
For business owners that do not match a check deposit with an invoice, some more research and data analysis showed that there is more work to be done such as supporting different types of checks, the ability to match a single check to multiple invoices, and matching to an invoice that has been pre-paid, to name a few.
With this data and feedback, we can confidently say this feature is valuable but needs to fill in the gaps to fully address the needs of business owners and be the source of truth.
