During my time working through Central Banking, it was important to have a repository of UI and patterns available, to create screens and flows quickly and accurately.

Having a component library and guidelines showcased to the design team the value of having production accurate assets in our design tooling. This helped the design team in the following ways:

• It allowed anyone in the future to have an overview of UI patterns to help them work across the ecosystem
• Set an example of how to take design systems into careful consideration while delivering
• Showed how having good design assets and tooling helps you and your team move faster
• Allowed other designers see how to work with design systems in parallel with product work, and contribute to design systems in parallel
