After reviewing the explorations with the design team and other stakeholders, it was apparent the gradient element was best “carried through” subtly and sparingly on strokes. That way it didn’t overpower the Wave brand and avoided heavy distracting elements drawing the eye’s attention.

Next I looked at all the areas in the app the Wave Money account was represented. After an audit and inventory, I applied the new Wave Money brand to those areas.
